AbstractHistoryArchive Description

This dual language book traces the activities of Zainon, an inspector with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks in Malaysia who is locating tigers for a captive breeding program at her zoo. Unfortunately, the men who have been hired to catch the tigers are involved in the illegal animal trade. Interspersed with Zainon's story is the story of Bill working in Australia to find kangaroos for a wildlife park near Brisbane. The men with whom he is working are involved with the men in Malaysia. Through a mix-up the tiger is sent to Australia where it befriends a young girl, Sarah. The kangaroo, let loose in Malaysia, is cared for by a young village boy, Halim. Both Sarah and Halim are determined to see the animals safely returned to their natural environments. (Source: Book)
