Author's note: The poem 'Jealousy' was written by Ruth Ellison and translated into Greek by me. I included it in this collection because of its beauty and because when she wrote it she was only 16 years old.
The poem 'Son of Mine' was written in Athens by the mother of my son, Mary Papavassiliou, and I have included it in the collection because, in this book which is dedicated to our child, I thought that it was right for her voice, as well as mine, to be heard.
