'The author's recollections of her life in Eastern Europe, prior to and during WWII. The memoirs reveal her experience as mistress to the infamous Nazi war criminal, Eduard Roschmann, "The Butcher of Riga", as well as the passionate affair with her true love, Sascha, a Jew.
