      • The publication history of this book is difficult to determine. Little is known about the first and second editions, whereas at least three different imprints marked as the 3rd edition exist. The printed dates on some of the editions are deliberately inaccurate (e.g. the '3rd edition, 1937' was in fact published between 1918 and 1929).
