Notes

  • No production of this pantomime has yet been identified. A number of seconadry sources have alluded to it having been staged in Adelaide in 1892, and indeed a production was muted by its author in early December that year (South Australian Register 1 December 1892, 5). It appears, however, than any plans to produce it in Adelaide that year were likely cancelled when Tom Pollard's Liliputan Opera Company secured Her Majetsy's Theatre in order to mount a similarly-themed Christmas pantomime - Aladdin Up-to-Date. Pollard even took out a public notice in the Advertiser distancing his company from the Aubrey pantomime (2 December 1892, 2).
