AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Rennie loved little orphaned Magda, and was quite prepared to take her into her care for good - but she was really no relation, while Chad Sandasen, although he lived in the Australian Outback, was the child's uncle and had a prior claim - and he intended to stick to it. However, he did suggest that Rennie herself come over to Australia with magda to hand the child over, and Rennie had little choice but to agree. Unfortunately Chad had already made up his mind that Rennie, a fly-by-night model girl, was hardly suitable to be a foster-mother - and any hope she might have had of persuading him to change his mind was destroyed by the unfortunate circumstances in which he first met her! - back cover (London, 1972)
