  • This story was first published in 1891 in the Boys' Champion as 'The Golden Creek, or Lost in the Bush' under the name J.J.G. Bradley, the pseudonym of Skip Borlase (Miller, p.608). When it appeared thirty years later as a separate work in book form, it was published under the name of Norman Owen (Miller; O'Neill; ACB (1)).
