Other release dates include Israel (11 February 1999), New Zealand (21 February 1999), Mexico (11 June 1999), USA (13 August 1999 - limited), UK (15 October 1999), Netherlands (20 April 2000), Hong Kong (18 May 2000), Spain (9 June 2000), Switzerland (13 July 2000), Germany (27 July 2000), and Japan (18 November 2000 - Tokyo). Head On was also exhibited at the 1999 Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (USA), 1999 Helsinki International Film Festival (Finland), 1999 Rochester ImageOut Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival (USA), 1999 Verzaubert Film Festival (Germany), 2001 Kingston ReelOut Queer Film and Video Festival (Canada), and the 2001 Australian Film Week (Hungary).
2. Released on videocassette format in 1997 by Roadshow Home Video. Re-released on DVD format in 2000 by Millivres Multimedia (UK) and Strand Releasing Home Video (USA).
