Dobson and Kershaw responded to a review of Poetry of the English-Speaking World. The reviewer, B. Ifor Evans, had criticised the non-representation of poets from Commonwealth countries. Dobson suggested the names of those poets worthy of inclusion; Kershaw doubted that there were any worthy of inclusion.
