  • Originally published by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia. First titled Australian Communist, the weekly newspaper began publication in December 1920. Titled Australian Communist 1921-1923, and Worker's Weekly 1923-1939, the newspaper suspended publication from May 1940 to January 1941 and resumed as the Tribune. It incorporated Forward (1943) and Guardian (Vic.) and Queensland Guardian (1967). Ceased publication. (See OCAL)
