Mr. Weiss is the principal of the Bureau and School of Mines, Perth, and has held distinguished positions in three of the other colonies. He is the author of the anonymous published poem "Rally, comrades! round our Empire Flag unfurled," which had the unique honor of being recorded in Parliament, and of being dedicated by Lord Roberts and Wolesley to the British Army.'
