      • Author's note on typescript insert: 'Hand printed by the author in 1904. Edition destroyed in disgust. Eight copies discovered in 1924 ...' [signed Furnley Maurice]. Anderson's Frank Wilmot (Furnley Maurice): a bibliography and a criticism (1955) notes that a ninth copy, owned by J.K.Moir, had no title page but had written revisions of poems in the margin.

      • Anderson's Frank Wilmot (Furnley Maurice): a bibliography and a criticism (1955) comments: ' There are still twelve copies in existence.' In Biblionews (December 1950): 49 Anderson had an article on 'The Suppressed Verses of Frank Wilmot ('Furnley Maurice')' in which he states: ' There are in existence 12 copies of a second printing which, by comparison of the two, must have been attempted shortly afterwards...The whole edition is unbound and incomplete. The total pagination would be either 48 or 49 pages,...It is a much better attempt in every way; each page has a good balance between print and paper, the setout of the poems is improved and those from the first volume, severely revised.'
