  • This work was published in the Empire and Queanbeyan Age in November 1865 titled 'Daniel Henry Deniehy'. Subsequent publications have the title as 'In Memoriam : Daniel Henry Deniehy', and also involve a small number of minor textual changes.
  • Appeared in the Australasian in March 1867 along with Kendall's brief tribute, in which he compares Deniehy with Keats and De Quincy.
