Notes

  • A drama in verse form.
  • Staging notes: 'The scene is supposed to be an open space in the air. Time - about midnight. Enter the Genius of the City of Sydney, a modern sprite, dressed in corporation robes mingled with clouds and mist; Genius is in great alarm, being pursued by a huge, brawny, phantom, clad in black and yellow, and covered with chains.'
  • 'Dialogue between the Genius of Sydney and the Ghost of Transportation, the latter arguing that it be brought back to life.' - Webby
