A revealing clash between materialism and ideals, this is David Williamson at his best. Peter, a mathematician who is niceness itself, is in financial trouble because of his brother's bankruptcy. His neighbour Margaret, decides that he needs help from his friends, who are all wealthy... (Publisher's blurb, back cover).
