A radio adaptation of Ric Throssell's stage play, which had been produced in Canberra to much acclaim in April 1956. The radio version was not as well received, but was re-broadcast as a matinee on 1 March 1959. Not further broadcasts have been traced.

Production Details

    • First produced by the Canberra Repertory Society in association with the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust at the Riverside Theatre, Canberra, on 5 April 1956, and then by the Victorian Drama League, for the Australian Olympic Drama Festival, Melbourne, 1956.
    • Presented at the Edinburgh Festival by the London Playgoers' Club in August/September 1960.
