Production Details

  • First performed in 1984 at the First Aboriginal Women's Arts Festival, Adelaide.
  • In 1985 the play was included in the New Moods Women 150 Festival as part of Women Writers Week. Contrast with Cinderella, whose dreams came true - it is about a black girl who had her dreams, but they were taken away from her (Survival in Our Own Land p 152)
