Notes:
Revised version of text written in 1950 as 'Dunciad Minimus: an heroic poem' and circulated in typescript to a few friends. A few copies of a revised text were produced as 'Dunciad Miminus: an heroic poem' in mimeograph form for Hope by the ANU Press in 1963. Both versions had a note on the title page stating that the text was 'Profusely annotated by A.A.P. and A.P.' 'A.A.P' was the literary critic Arthur Phillips while 'A.P' was his father, Ambrose Phillips'. Hooton in her bibliography of Hope (item 15) states that the original tyepscript version was lost but that there are copies of the mimeographed version in the Menzies Library at ANU and the La Trobe Library (State Library of Library). However the copy she refers to in the State Library of Victoria is actually one of the original 1950 typescript versions, not the 1963 mimeographed one.
