  • Dedication: This book is in memory of my dear friend and partner, Anne Spencer Parry, who died of cancer on 26.1.1985, aged fifty three at the height of her creative power. We worked together as partners for over twenty years as psychotherapists, as writers and as publishers. Without her encouragement and enthusiasm, I would not have become a poet.
