AbstractHistoryArchive Description

An award-winning young adult novel that explores themes of identity, adolescent alienation and the rites of passage. Australian teenager Dan Bancroft had a choice to make: go to Geneva with his parents for a year, or move into a house with his bass-playing aunt Jacq and her beautiful friend Naomi. He chooses the latter, and spends his last year of high school living with twenty-two-year-old Jacq. He develops a crush on Naomi, whose active lovelife is audible through the wall between their bedrooms.

Ages 15+.
