Filmed on location in Camden, New South Wales, with interior scenes filmed at Cinesounds Bondi studio.

Notes:

1. The first of three spin-off movies that followed on from On Our Selection, Grandad Rudd was shot quickly in October and November of 1934. Although the film received a lukewarm reception from the critics, primarily in response to the screenplay, it attracted good audiences and provided Cinesound (and co-producers Bailey and Grant) with a £15,000 profit.
