  • Dedication: In homage to Butcher Joe (Nangan) of Broome, Western Australia
  • This work is comprised of a number of smaller individually titled pieces - 'Two Texts (and One Other)', 'True', 'Hypnotics', 'Erotics', 'Exchange', 'Drifting Out'. It appears in Kunapipi titled 'Two Texts (and one other)' and in a slightly revised form in No Road (Bitumen all the Way), titled 'Drifting Out'. As can be seen, in both instances the title of the work was taken from one of the samller individually titled pieces of which the work is comprised.
