BiographyHistory

Mondadori and Canadian publisher Harlequin Enterprises formed the Harlequin Mondadori joint venture in 1981 to publish exclusively fiction for women. It has become Italy's reference point for a new genre of women's fiction.

Harlequin Mondadori publishes around 650 titles every year, an average of more than 50 a month, that are translated from the originals that come from around 1,300 Anglo-American writers. (Source: publisher's website)
