Stanislav Juhaňák-Triton Publishing House has been publishing books since 1991. It specializes in medical, psychological, philosophical, historical and pedagogical literature. As for popular literature, Triton publishes mainly biographies, science fiction, fantasy and fairy tales.
The house publishes books written mostly by university professors and top specialists from scientific and medical institutions (The Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine, medical faculties, The Institute of Endocrinology, The Institute for Education of Health Care Specialists, Charles University in Prague – Faculty of Science, The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, The University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, The University of Pardubice, Palacký University in Olomouc, etc.).
Every year, Triton publishes approximately 120-150 Czech and international titles, some in cooperation with other publishers (Argo, Labyrint, Epocha, ČBS, Schattauer, and others).
