Nancy Gostelow married her husband John in September 1968 and moved from station to station, working at Richmond, Inkerman, Welcome, Olivevale, Inowine, Lochinvar Stations and Arukun Mission. In 1977 they built their home at the family property of Koolburra. Gostelow spent much of her time home tutoring her five children.
