Sally Baker has lived in Townsville, North Queensland. She began working in libraries as a seventeen year old trainee and will complete her Graduate Diploma in Applied Sciences (Library and Information Mangagement) through Charles Sturt University in 2006. Baker's main interests lie in the technologies of cataloguing, systems and web development.
Baker has also completed a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Psychology.
Baker coordinates the North Queensland ALIA NewGraduates group and is a member of the TropicALIA virtual committee.
