BiographyHistory

Joanna Jaaniste was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, a Diploma of Education from the University of New England and a Graduate Diploma in Dramatherapy from Hertfordshire University in the United Kingdom. She has worked as a teacher of Drama, English and German as well as a Dramatherapist in the area of multi-cultural mental health at the University of Western Sydney. In 2006, her article 'Cultural Meaning and the Arts Therapies in Recovery' was published in Synergy.

Jaaniste has subscribed to membership of Soirees Litteraires and The Writers' Centre, Rozelle, and has developed an interest in writing poetry and short stories.
