BiographyHistory

Miriam Ben-David grew up in Hungary in an orthodox Jewish family and was educated in an all-Jewish school. The family escaped the Nazi persecutions via Romania and Turkey and settled in Israel. Ben-David studied English language and literature in England for two years, then psychology at the Hebrew University. She also spent some time in the US where she received part of her professional training, before practising as a clinical psychologist.

Ben-David spent some time in Brisbane where she enrolled in a TAFE course for creative writing.
