BiographyHistory

Jocelyn Harewood holds a Diploma in Applied Chemistry, a Certificate in Professional Writing and Editing, and is a trained teacher. She has taught mathematics and science and worked for the Ministry of Education. She won a Victorian Government Grant to the Arts in 1990 and also earned a Judah Waten Commendation in 1989.

Harewood has written in the fields of education, children's literature, science fiction, multicultural issues and social commentary.
