BiographyHistory

Gasking was an artist and illustrator. In the early 1890s, he worked at the Illustrated Sydney News. He then moved to Brisbane where he contributed to the Boomerang, and became staff artist at the Queenslander. In the later 1890s he briefly taught art at his studio in Brisbane. He subsequently returned to Sydney where he worked for a number of years at the World's News.
