BiographyHistory

Boris Nartsissov grew up in Estonia and completed a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Tartu. He began writing poems in his student days. He came to Australia via Germany and stayed for two and a half years, first working in a vineyard near Sydney, then for 18 months in shale mining, before leaving to live permanently in the United States. Eventually, he obtained an important post in the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. Some of his poetry includes references to Australia.
