BiographyHistory

Okao came to Australia as a child. His family fled Uganda as refugees and settled in Melbourne. Deeply depressed and alienated for some years, Okao was finally inspired by his literature teacher to write a journal and to write poetry, and through this he has rediscovered a desire to live.
