BiographyHistory

Akhurst managed the Sydney branch of the Melbourne printing firm Charles Troedel and Co., from 1877 to April 1881, when he began his own business. Akhurst & Co. accepted a wide variety of jobbing printing, printing works for the Theosophical Society, and the gardening firm Arthur Yates & Co., among other organisations.
