Alison Giles-Damjanovska has worked as a secondary and primary teacher, a teacher-librarian, an ESL specialist and Indigenous Specialist teacher in the Kimberley. She has also been a college counsellor at an inner-Sydney Islamic school. She now writes full-time and runs her own publishing and proof-reading business.
