Report of the meeting 18 August. J. C. Davies presented an "analytic survey" titled 'Edward Harrington and His Verse'. Davies suggested Harrington was a "fitting" topic for the Society "for no Australian poet to-day revealed more of the characteristics of Lawson". Edward J. Turner assisted by reciting 'The Kerrigan Boys' and 'Billy Woods'.
