BiographyHistory

David Tunley is a composer, music scholar and author. Educated at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, in 1958 he was appointed as the first full-time lecturer in Music at the University of Western Australia, where he is an Emeritus Professor. He is perhaps best known for his studies of French vocal music, and is recognised internationally as an authority on the 18th century French cantata.
