BiographyHistory

Educated at Geelong Grammar School, Stuart Reid was a pastoralist at Eddington Station in western Victoria. Under the pseudonym Frank Morley he published novels in journals - he was in fact the proprietor and publisher of two such journals - the Melbourne Journal and the Weekly Citizen, which published serials, short stories and poetry. He also wrote the travel book Three Weeks in Southland : being the account of a trip to New Zealand partly for pleasure and partly for profit (1885).
