BiographyHistory

Gordon Samuels was a lawyer (including Queen's Counsel), judge, academic, Chancellor of the University of New South Wales and Governor of New South Wales. He was made a Companion of the Order of Australia in 1987 and a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in 2000. In 2003 received the Centenary Medal.
