BiographyHistory

Susannah McFarlane was raised in Melbourne. She moved to London in 1996 and worked as Reed's publisher for licensed characters (including Thomas the Tank Engine and Winnie the Pooh). She later moved to Egmont Books, one of the UK's largest children's book publishers, as managing director. McFarlane developed the Zac Power and Go Girl series while managing director of Hardie Grant Egmont. In 2009 Mcfarlane founded LemonFizz Media to develop children's book series including EJ12 Girl Hero (2010) and Boy V Beast (2010) the latter series created in partnership with Louise Park.
