BiographyHistory

George Watt was born into a pioneer family in the Central Queensland cattle country. He spent his childhood on Rodd's Bay Cattle Station and in Mount Larcom. Watt was educated in Brisbane and served in the Royal Australian Navy from 1942 to 1946. He moved to Brisbane with his family in 1964 and worked in seafood processing and real estate.
