BiographyHistory

In 1901 Mr. Weiss was the principal of the Bureau and School of Mines, Perth, and had held distinguished positions in three of the other colonies. His poem 'Rally, Comrades! Round Our Empire Flag Unfurled' had the unique honor of being recorded in Parliament, and of being dedicated by Lord Roberts and Wolesley to the British Army (Editor's note Northern Territory Times 21 June 1901).
