BiographyHistory

Edith Gringlas and her younger sister were forced to live in Budapest by themselves during the Second World War before eventual reunion with their parents. At age 14 she began work in her father's factory in Australia. She married and raised a family in Melbourne where she later established a successful art gallery. In October 1986 she married Mietek Gringlas.
