BiographyHistory

During the 1860s and early 1870s, 'Zadriel' contributed numerous articles on agriculture and farming to the Queenslander, along with a lesser number of creative works. From their various articles it it can be gleaned that 'Zadriel' was a native of Ireland, and that they came to Australia in the early 1840s, initially living in New South Wales and subsequently Queensland. At one point in 1870, the Queenslander indicated that 'Zadriel' was growing tobacco at Enoggera, then a farming district just outside Brisbane. 'Zadriel' appears to have died in early 1872.
