BiographyHistory

As well as the publications listed here, Mansutti has published in various media a number of works for and about children. They include the books Television: A New Look for Kids (1983) and On the Camel Track (1988) and the videorecordings 'What's Going On Here: Partners in Learning and Information Literacy' (1991) and 'Feeling Safe Staying Safe: Protective Behaviours' (1994). She produced the series 'Mulligrubs', and wrote the script for 'Look There! Humphrey Bear!' [Sound Recording], EMI 197-, She recorded the history of 100 years of primary schooling in the Booleroo District in High Cockalorum (1985), and following work on a project on local history and creative writing in the Unley district working with the Unley Library service and children from Goodwood Primary School and Concordia College, she wrote the book and produced the videorecording both titled Time and Place (1991). The following year she wrote the booklet A Writer in Residence: What's That? (1992).

In 1990 Mansutti was Chairperson of the South Australian Writers' Centre and was co-compiler of their publication ABC for New Writers (1990). She was involved in the preparation of material for the Centenary of Women's Suffrage in South Australia (1994), writing a biography of social reformer Mary Lee, which appears on the State Library of South Australia's website, and compiling Read All About It: Women's Suffrage Sources from the Newspapers of South Australia 1885-1894 (1994). She has read her poetry in the Northern Territory, and has conducted workshops in the eastern states. Mansutti has also translated a collection of 140 poems by Giovanna Fabrizio from Italian into English.
