The association with Neutral Zone was through Grant Watson, then a committee member in the club. Interestingly, the year prior to the publication of Twenty3 saw Neutral Zone forced to abandon its monthly Star Trek screenings when the Australian Film and Video Securities Office informed the club that it was in violation of copyright owned by Paramount Pictures and CIC Video. The monthly meetings were subsequently cancelled while the committee examined its options (ctd. Australian Science Fiction Bullsheet, 2 May 1997).
