Lyn Isted grew up as the youngest of three children in the 1960s. She completed a degree in Occupational Therapy and a Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences at Curtin University, Western Australia. After working in the country and city for sixteen years as an occupational therapist, Isted decided to pursue her interests in creative literature.
