BiographyHistory

Michael Fullilove has been executive director of the Lowy Institute in Sydney, and a non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. A Rhodes scholar and a former prime ministerial adviser, he writes widely on global issues for publications such as The New York Times, Financial Times, The Daily Beast and Foreign Affairs.

In 2013, Fullilove's Rendezvous with Destiny was shortlisted for 'The Nib': CAL Waverley Library Award for Literature. In 2014, it was joint winner of the Douglas Stewart Prize for Non-fiction at the NSW Premier's Literary Awards and was shortlisted for the non-fiction award at the Prime Minister's Literary Awards.
