Illustrator, artist, and arts worker.
Ryan majored in print-making at the Queensland College of Art, and has remained extensively involved with the North Queensland arts community, including Indigenous artists. She was manager at the Lockhart River Art Centre from 2001 to 2007, and was subsequently (in 2009) appointed to the position of art director for GhostNets Australia, an organisation that examines the possibility of developing art from discarded fishing nets.
