BiographyHistory

Priscilla Herdman grew up in New York and studied at the University of Iowa. She completed her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York in 1970. After this Herdman performed as a singer and guitarist in New York and later toured England and Europe. In 1976 she became a professional singer and the following year released her first album, The Water Lily, comprising mainly Henry Lawson poems set to music.
