David Madden graduated from the Royal Military College and studied Arts and Law at the University of New South Wales. Awarded a Fulbright and a Frank Knox Scholarship, he studied at Harvard University, completing his law degree and a Master in Public Policy.
Madden was co-author of Imagining Australia : Ideas for our Future and has worked with the World Bank and the United Nations.
